I’m Raimon, from Barcelona and, despite having a Fine Arts degree, I’m visual artist. With time I’ve reconciled with these studies. I’ve spent many years to finish them and at first it seemed to me that all was useless.
After that I learned several technologies and digital tools. For some time I was calling myself a 3D specialist. I was teaching Blender courses on a regular basis in Barcelona, I was doing architectural render… I’ve also worked in audiovisual mapping shows and even tried my hand at some interactive artistic projects. I had access to quite sofisticated resources and tools. But in the artistic sense it wasn’t fulfilling for me at that moment; I felt kinda empty.
In contrast, when I was child my mind was always producing images. It was in the process of becoming adult that I ended visualizing and creaing less and less. One day I wanted to solve this and approached again drawing, painting, photography, and things done by hand. Digital technology still seduces me, but now I feel that’s me who decides to use it, instead of the oposite. I’m still healing, but happy to be where I am.
Some of the images I do have value and I sell them, so you can buy. And if you’re interested in learning the techniques I use, you can enroll in the workshops I host from time to time.
